Tightening of Big End Nuts & Cylinder Head Bolts.

To ensure the correct loading of the threads and pressures on the components concerned.

The recommended pressures are indicated below.

BIG END NUTS

Mark 10                                75 inch lbs (8.474 Nm) then to next split pin hole

Mark 12                                95 inch lbs (10.73 Nm) then to next split pin hole

Mark 15                                95 inch lbs (10.73 Nm) then to next split pin hole

Mark 20,25,40                        120 inch lbs (13.56 Nm then to next split pin hole
